High Velocity Burner

CTPL has developed ultra light aerodynamic High Velocity Burners which can be operated on different fuels like HSD/LDO/LPG/NATURAL GAS etc.

Salient Features:
  • It attains exit flue velocity ranging from 150 m/s to 230 m/s. The high velocity creates high turbulence inside the furnace/vessel, ensuring uniform and very high heat transfer rate, eliminating the need of costly recirculation fans
  • Generation of High volumes of turbulent hot gases
  • It also reduces number of burners in a Furnace/Vessel, since high turbulence ensures excellent uniformity of temperature
  • The aerodynamic design of the Burner eliminates requirement of refractory and castable burner block etc. thus it can be installed within a short duration in a furnace or can be transported without any risk
  • Very high turn down ratio and capability of accepting very high excess air enable this Burner to control furnace temperature in minute range
  • Precise Control of temperature & Heat Up rates
  • These burners and its associated combustion can be designed for varying capacities and fuels
Applications:

Stress Relieving ( PWHT ) of different pressure vessels, extra large vessels by the following methods

Existing Heat Treatment/Stress Relieving Furnaces or New Furnaces Temporary Furnaces Built at site for complex fabrications Direct Firing (Internal Firing Method) through manholes/nozzle openings in Pressure Vessels
Refractory Dryout/Refractory Heat Up Applications for various vessels like Reformers, Cold Collectors, Boilers etc
The system comes with In Built Pilot Burners, High Voltage Ignition system, Flame Sensors, High Pressure Blowers, Oil Pumping Unit, Oil/Gas Control Panels with valves Assemblies, required hoses & all other accessories.
